Apologies to all my physics colleagues, but this Hadron Collider stuff is doing my box in – seriously. If another student asks me if the world’s going to end on Wednesday when this thing gets switched on then for that particular pupil, it just might…

But then I came across this youtube video and for a moment, wished that I taught physics so that I could work this into a lesson. In fact, I will probably find a way to get it into one anyway…

Now, the question is…should I risk maxing out my credit cards in Emporio Armani and Cruise this weekend ?  And if you knew that the world was really going to end, what would you do ?
